the collections on 04 s/s HC were using the theme of Ancient Egypt Culture. The colour of this collection are based on red, yellow, blue, green, black and white. The reason for that is because the Ancient Egypt artisans used stone to carves status and fine belief, the paint are usually obtained from the minerals such as Iron Ores (Red+Yellow ochres), Copper Ores (Blue+Green), Soot/Charcoal (Black) and Limestone (White).And John Galliano used them all and even add up some metalic colour, such as gold and silver to recreate a luxury look for the collection because this collection inspired by the Ancient Egypt Goddness i.e. Anubis and Royaltyi.e.Nifertiti

The colour scheme of this Ancient Eygpt collection should be Analogic and Complamentary colour scheme because it have used Red + Yellow n Blue +Green, both of these colours are Analogic colour. Moreover, they are the complementary part is the Green with Red + Blue wth Yellow.
03 s/s haute couture
In this collection, John Galliano created a whole new combination of Asia beauty after he recently returned from a three-week trip to China and Japan. He showed that the smashed cultural boundaries in a spectacle of gargantuan theatricality. Moreover, the multicoloured volumes of fabric that mixed East and West, ancient and modern, were showcased amid appearances from Chinese dancers and circus performers.In the colour usage, John Galliano had a colour celebration in here and he used almost every single colour. Although it is hard to tell which colour scheme he used in this collection, I will say that he used a Split Complementary colour scheme with boost up the redish colour because of the Chinese element.

The combination of the collection were usually in either green with orange, Blue with red, or crossover.

The backgound of Gianfranco Ferré
Gianfranco Ferré (15 August 1944 – 17 June 2007) was a fashion designer also known as "the architect of fashion" for his background and his original attitude toward creating fashion design.
Born in Legnano, Italy, he received a degree in architecture in 1969 at the Politecnico di Milano university. Ferré began his fashion career in 1970 by designing accessories, then worked as a raincoat designer in 1972-74. He started his own company Baila in 1974 [1] and launched his signature collection for women in 1978. His first men's collection appeared in 1982, followed in 1986 by his first couture collection in Rome.
Ferré became Stylistic Director of Christian Dior in Paris in 1989, when he was chosen by owner Bernard Arnault to replace Marc Bohan. In 1996, it was announced that Ferré would end his engagement with Dior with the Spring 1997 collection for the label. [2]
His own label is more relaxed and pared-down than Dior. Sophisticated white shirts have become the symbol of his personal signature in fashion design.
Ferré appeared to be extremely critical of trends and fashion gimmicks. He dealt with his demanding schedule, being responsible for a French top fashion brand and his own Italian label, by commuting between Milan and Paris in his private plane. Ferré had a lakeside home in Lake Maggiore, near Milan.

Christian Dior Haute Couture cocktail dress from the 1980S. Designed for the house by Gianfranco Ferre it is made of an extraordinary gold lace with layers of apricot and gold chiffon underneath.

CHRISTIAN DIOR
Christian Dior was born in 1905 and passed all his childhood, to Normandy, with of his parents. In 1928, he opened a picture gallery and exposed works of very large artists such as Picasso, El Salvador Dali, Jean Cocteau, etc. but alas, his parents were ruins by the stock exchange crash of 1929 and it had to close his gallery. Later, about 1935, he learned the techniques from the drawing of fashion and sold his sketches to some large dressmakers then he was mobilised in 1939.
On his return, he joined to Lucien Lelong, very famous dressmaker of this time. He drew the future collections during several seasons.In 1946, he left Luc
ien Lelong and founded his own couture house to the 30 Montaigne avenue in Paris. In 1947, he showed his first collection. It was a true revolution. Christian Dior have invented the style « New-look », round shoulders, fine size with loose skirt in the shape of corolla at 20 centimetres of the ground. With Christian Dior, Paris became again the city of the world or were born the most beautiful dresses.
